You can fish on Pielinen, hike in the forest or test your condition in a volleyball match against the youngest in the family. At the end of the day it is nice to calm down from the day´s activities in the light of the hut´s campfire. In winter the shining white snow tempts you out skiing. You can start cross country skiing from the steps of your cottage or go downhill skiing on the slopes of Ukko-Koli, 12 km away.
